What the Company Does
Dataddo is a single no-coding platform for data integration, automation, and transformation. Our platform, which offers ETL, ELT, and also reverse ETL, was designed with the business user in mind so that even people with no coding knowledge can make use of their data. However, we also have advanced products and features for data engineers, for example, our newly launched Dataddo Headless, which allows the makers of data products to put all our integrations under the hood of their user interface by connecting to a single, unified API.
The Current Landscape
The data analytics tools industry is incredibly diverse. A few years back, all-in-one tools were the main players, however, currently, there is a big shift towards a composable data stack. In order to grow as quickly as possible, companies need to be able to switch out outdated parts of their data architecture to the ones that not only suit their current needs but are also scalable. Reliance on all-in-one tools can get very expensive when it’s time for a change as the organization will need to change its whole data infrastructure.
What competitors exist?
Some competitors are Supermetrics or Fivetran, however, none of the tools on the market offer what we do for the prices that we have.
Company Birth Story
Despite incredibly diverse offerings in the field of data analytics, we were still craving a few things. Namely: flexibility. That’s why in 2018 we created Dataddo - a single no-coding platform for data integration, automation, and transformation. With the vision to give people full control of and access to their own data, we designed Dataddo to work with any online data service, as well as the data architecture you already have. Dataddo was founded in Prague and is now headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley.
The Solution
Dataddo is a fully no-code platform that enables data centralization, data visualization, and data distribution. Most of the ETL tools on the market still require some coding knowledge which greatly hinders data democratization. Our goal is for anyone who is interested in data to be able to work with data. That’s also why we offer a direct connection of data to dashboarding apps (no data warehouse necessary).
The second great advantage is our library of connectors, which is the largest in the industry. We currently have more than 200 connectors and the list keeps growing thanks to our development team and also our clients for whom we can build connectors they require free of charge within a couple of weeks. This is a great strength of ours as most companies will not even consider building them, and if they do, it might take up to 6 months.
Last but not least is our pricing model, which was intended to be straightforward and transparent. Our pricing is flexible yet fixed, so our clients know exactly how much they will be paying at the end of each month. The usual practice in the industry is to charge per volume which, can get rather expensive if the company’s data volume keeps changing and can lead to very unpleasant surprises.
Thanks to these benefits and more, we currently have more than 10,000 users and the number keeps growing. Dataddo’s goal is to be a leader in the data democratization movement.
A Customer Story
WWL, our client from the Netherlands, used Dataddo to unify data from 24 eshops from all over the world. Apart from eshop data, their departments were also using various API-based tools which inevitably resulted in data silos. Back then we had most of the connectors WWL needed, however, there were still a few Dutch-specific tools that they needed to pull data from. To help WWL, we built the connector within a few weeks and free of charge. WWL could then move onto being the fully data-driven company that it is today.
