There are approximately 3,400-point products that are not designed for small and medium- sized businesses (SMB) customers or partners who they leverage for IT services. Many companies treat this space as a revenue stream with watered down products, long service level agreements (SLAs) for help or the thought that a SMB will string together seven different products or hire a large staff to maintain, monitor and update each product daily. This is where Judy Security comes in. Judy’s artificial intelligence (AI) solves these problems with an all-in-one solution that takes minutes to install and saves SMBs and the Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) that support them time and money.

Company Birth Story
Judy Security was the vision of its founder and CEO, Raffaele Mautone. Raffaele's tech career began at Dell in Austin, Texas but he sought new challenges. In a pivotal move, he transitioned to Dallas, Texas and, determined to make a mark in the industry, pursued a role at Network Associates, where he began selling cybersecurity solutions, notably McAfee.
Raffaele's journey in cybersecurity included key positions at major industry players such as McAfee, FireEye and Duo. Through his extensive experience, he observed that cybersecurity choices for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) were limited to either simplified corporate tools or overly expensive ones, leaving many vulnerable. Large enterprises had access to comprehensive solutions and services, but SMBs struggled to secure their digital assets effectively, often relying on fragmented, inadequate tools.
Driven by this insight and a desire to address this pressing need, Raffaele founded AaDya Security in 2019 utilizing a mix of personal funds, angel investors, and venture capital. The company was on a mission to make cybersecurity accessible and affordable for SMBs.
The platform was developed by engaging with 13 managed security services companies, helping to understand their specific challenges, leading to the creation of "Judy," an AI and machine learning engine powering the platform. The company officially rebranded to Judy Security in 2023.

A Customer Story
One example is a midsize law firm that Judy Security has been working with for about a year. Judy was able to empower their one-person IT department to keep their most sensitive customer, employee and company data secure without the need to manage multiple-point products. The all-in-one platform also provided them with a framework to quickly and easily meet critical compliance requirements.
Another great example and one of Judy Security’s earliest adopters is an established executive coaching and consulting firm. Judy helped them with security concerns related to a distributed workforce of contract employees using company email in a BYOD (bring your own device) environment. They now have peace of mind that their customer data and their critical business platforms are protected 24/7 for a fraction of the cost of leveraging external security services offered through their current provider.
One of Judy Security’s most technically mature customers, a midsized apparel manufacturer, originally came to the company because they were in the market for both 2FA (two-factor authentication) and EDR. Implementing Judy to the entire team gave them instant protection to secure their entire operation quickly and easily.
