HomeZada is pioneering this new market category as most homeowner’s cobble together paper files, generic cloud storage, and spreadsheets to try to manage home maintenance schedule, a home inventory, home remodel projects and home finances. Homeowners are un-organized in managing their home like a financial asset. With the recent pandemic of people working from home, many are now looking for digital home management apps to helps them manage their homes.


Your Birth Story


The three co-founders of HomeZada worked together at another startup that was in the commercial construction project management software industry where one was a co-founder. Once this company was successfully sold to a public company, they realized that managing the data about the home is comparable to managing data about commercial buildings. So as passionate entrepreneurs, they decide to build and launch the HomeZada platform to help all homeowners better manage their homes.


Your Solution


HomeZada combines multiple apps, content and data to help homeowners manage their home maintenance schedules, budgets and costs for home remodel projects, a home inventory of photos and videos for insurance purposes, and tracking all home financial information such as estimate home value, mortgage balances, home equity and all the budgets and costs for household expenses such as insurance, property taxes, utilities, and any regular home service.


HomeZada has tens of thousands of homeowners signed up all across the country representing every generation of homeowners, including millennials, gen x, boomers and even seniors. HomeZada has proven its platform with all types of homeowners from first time homeowners to people with large homes, and people own multiple homes.


A Customer Story


Customers tells us all kinds of success stories. One customer lived in Houston and was able to retrieve their home inventory after a hurricane destroyed her home and she was able to get properly reimbursed on a timely basis with her insurance company. Another customer in New Jersey saved over $500 because HomeZada reminded her to pay her property taxes on time and thus she avoided late fees. New homeowners have peace of mind because HomeZada automatically reminds them of preventative maintenance tasks to keep the home safe, healthy and operating efficiently so they can reduce utility costs and avoid costs repair costs. A customer in Arizona bought a fixer upper home and HomeZada help her manage the budgets and costs with eight different home remodel projects she is undertaking.

All three of us deeply care about developing software that improves people’s lives and is easy to use. We also believe in teamwork as we each have our specific skills from sales and marketing with Elizabeth, to software development with David, and product and business strategy with John. It takes a committed team with perseverance to build something that is transformational for a large scale number of potential users which is over 120 million homeowners and just as many in international countries.
